Hi All,

I've been task with upgrading from my cme2821 to the new isr4331.  Working with a purchasing company I've been assured  this is what I need migrate to the isr4331.

This is what I currently have vs what I'm buying:

CISCO2821-CCME/K9 ISR4331-V/K9

I want to keep everything the same as far is user configuration.  I have about 30 phones and mail boxes on my current cme. I've been looking for a way to migrate the data from one to another?  If not, what do I need to configure the isr?

Thanks,

Hi Damian,

For migration first make sure you order the same set of licenses which you have on your current CME router. You can check the present licenses from the command "show license detail".

For user data migration, the commands to configure the users is same. You can copy the current running configuration, filter out the configuration specific to telephony service, ephones,ephone-dn's, voice service voip, dspfarm etc. Once you have the configuration in a notepad, edit the IP addresses etc and run it on the new CME router.

Also, in ISRG3 routers CUE is not supported. It is recommended to install unity connection or CUE on Virtualized E-series blade and integrate it with CME.
