USB Video Camera support on Cisco IP Phone 8961?
Device Information:
Cisco 8961
Active Load ID: sip8961.9-2-1
* Video capabilities enabled on phone configuration of CUCM (Saved, Config Applied, and Reset)
Error:
"VT3 Camera detected but disabled"
Do you know off hand if the VT3 Camera (USB) will work on an IP Phone (i.e.. 9951, 8961)
I just received a couple VT3 cameras and plugged one into my 8961 and I get the message "VT3 detected but disabled" I searched and from all of the docs it says it is supported. I updated phone config to allow video but still disabled. I even plugged the accessory video camera from the 9951 phone and it sees it and says disabled.
So, my question is does the cp8961 support Video thru the USB port on the side of phone? If so, what needs to be configured to get this functionality working?
note: This is not used on a PC or using CAST thru PC port.
Thanks for the clarification!
