Solved: use HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI= for voice?

Hi all,

We have a 2811 router with HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI card, now we want to use the router as a voice gateway. I wonder if I could use the HWIC card to connect to PSTN (like a VWIC2-xMFT-E1T1 card). Could somebody give me a confirmation on this?

Hi Hoanghiep,

The problem here is that the HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI does not support Voice PRI's. :( You will want to use a VWIC.

That's what I'm afraid of :( - we must purchase another card for that purpose.
