I am deploying quite a few VG224 and VG202 devices in my environment. Some network administrators would like addresses statically assigned and others would like DHCP to be used. I have tested both, but some administrators are concerned with the fact that the VG's do not send out its MAC when requesting an address, but rather a long string of digits. Does anyone know what those digits are and if there is a logical way for the DHCP server to filter on something in that string for the DHCP reservation?
