Hello Everyone,
I inherited a situation where we are replacing som VG224s with VG310s. The new cabling only has RJ-45 jacks but they are going to plug analog phones in them. I know that will work but the jacks are run back to a patch panel and punched down like regular data jacks. The VG310 only has an amphenol connector. How am I going to get the analog signals over to the VG310 from the data jacks? I as thinking some rewiring into a 66 block for those particular cables but maybe I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance!

Your best bet would be to purchase a Telco style patch panel with an Amphenol connection on the back. Connect the VG310 directly to the Telco patch panel with an Amphenol and then run jumpers from there to the data panel the phones are plugged into.
