VIC2-4FXO to RightFax - No longer connects

I have had this setup for almost two years - analog line connected to FXO MGCP routing back to CUCM ---> SIP Trunk to RightFax server.   As of this morning they have stopped receiving inbound faxes.  When I test - the call connects and silence. NO fax tones.  I tested the analog line and it's good.  I know the connection from CUCM to RightFax is also good.

This issue occurs on each FXO port.  I have reset the FXO ports on the router and CUCM.  Still no connection. There were no changes on the network or power loss last night.

When I debug voip ccapi inout and debug vpm signal, nothing stands out to me which is why I'm looking for help here.  I attached the debug file below.

Environment: CUCM 8.5

RF 10.0

Router:  2911 running  15.0(1)M3

Thanks!

found my answer - for some reason in the MGCP config had the t38 inhibit command. Once I removed that again - faxing began working.   The router did not reboot so I am not sure why this reverted back - I seem to recall in my past life this occuring intermittently with Csico 2900 series routers but am unsure as to what triggers it.

Hi Troy,

It sounds like this bug;

CSCta26864 - MGCP fax T38 inhibit and ecm configured upon reload

Description

Symptom:

On a Cisco MGCP gateway registered to Cisco Unified Callmanager server, running
IOS 124-24T we have enabled T38. But after a reload following
command lines are seen in the configuration and all T38 faxes fail:

mgcp fax t38 ecm
mgcp fax t38 inhibit

Conditions:

Specific to MGCP T38 fax. The command "ccm-manager config" needs to be
enabled to cause this issue.
Debug capture during boot up will show:
000386: Jun 18 21:58:06.588: cmapp_xml_cfg_router: configuring
[mgcp fax t38 inhibit]
Workaround:

This issue is not seen in Cisco IOS images 124-15T9 and 124-20T3.

You can also manually configure this after the reload:
mgcp default-package fxr-package (if need be)
no mgcp fax t38 inhibit
no mgcp fax t38 ecm

and then reset the gateway from the Callmanager
