Video from 3rd Party SIp Device to 9971 not working ???

Hello all.

Our Company buy an Reception System with Video. For this System I had to create a 3rd Party advanced sIp deice in our Cisco Call Manager.

The Reception System is now using this 3rd Party SIP Device to Setup calls. Normal calles are working well. If some on came in to the entrance and press the preconfigured contact then the System Setup a call to our 9971 phones internally.

Now we want to go the next step and we enable the Video Camera on the Reception System. The Goal is now to have a Video call from this reception System to our 9971 (equipped with Video camera).

The problem now is that video is not working from this 3rd Party SIP device to our 9971, but from 9971 to 9971 Video is working well.

What could be wrong ? Any Ideas ?

Hi Christian,

Just like the 9971's check if there is any setting on this third party video endpoint to enable video. Also, uncheck the Media temnination point required box on this device configuration page on cucm. if the video is not working after enabling it on the device then you should get a detailed callmanager service trace for a test call and see the SIP signaling which will provide details of SDP showing the codec and port number negotiation.
