Voice Gateway and CUCM E1 R2 configuration

Dear my friend.

I have configured E1 R2 line for my customer.It's use to receive and make call from/to PSTN.

But my customers said that their call sometimes had been dropped suddenly and sometimes they can't hear from far site.

Please help me to verify my configure and tell me if I have something wrong.

Update IOS and check again.

I have use IOS Universal 15.1

And in this case I don't know why they happen.

Not sure the reason of this problem is my wrong configuration or somethings wrong in PSTN at that time.

So please help me to verify my configuration if you can.

I have another E1 (ISDN 30B+D) and it works smoothly.

15.1 is not the complete version string.

PRI works always better than E1 R2.

Is this happening everytime?

Can you issue the "show call history voice brief" command shortly after it happens and post it on here?

At the very least it will show you what the disconnect cause code is and build from there.

I agree, PRI is much better. Give me a Q.931 debug over E1 R2 anyday. :-)

Dear friend.

This morning I moved all outbound call to ISDN 30B+D

Some customer feeded back that in some case, they call to another, their friend picked up the phone but both of them can't hear anything? And every thing was OK when they made call again.

I think if I had mistake when configure, problem must be always appeared,. . ., maybe somethings wrong with telco?

Another problem, I only knew the problem after they happened when they called me.

So how can I get debug information for you

Please help me to solve this case.

You can send "debug isdn q931" to a syslog or buffer, then try to correlate it  with problem report from an user.
