Hello,
One of the users has a red light in his phone, and also a text indicating he has some voice message, but he logs to listen to the messages, but there is no new messages or saved ones.
The CUCM version is 6.1.2

Hi David,
Try resetting the MWI indicator for that user's VM subscriber from Unity.
Path to follow: Search for the subscriber -> Select Messages -> Remove check mark for "User MWI indication" -> Save
Now put back that check mark -> Add MWI extension -> Save
Also check in your Exchange server, if there are multiple subscribers with the same extension (probably once the subscriber was deleted but was not deleted from exchange which will remain in the exchange and MWI could be picking up that subscriber)

Hi David,
Give this a try.
To find the MWI - OFF DN (just in case )
In CUCM look up the MWI-Off number (Feature>Voicemail>Message Waiting>Directory Number>Message Waiting Indicator Off )
This will be a Directory Number like perhaps 2600. Go to the phone, press the Line button, dial 2600 and the MWI Lamp/Icon and Message will turn off.
