Dear All

Today I encountered an issue with a voip dial-peer

With no configuration change, the dial-peer went into down/down status.

Does anyone know what circumstances would cause this?

To be clear, the dial-peer was not shut via CLI

Thanks

Phil

Are u able to share this voip dialpeer along with sh dial peer voice summ output?

Wondering if you have a ping or busy out feature configured that can take down a

dialpeer dynamically if u lose network connex.

sure, thanks for looking at this.

This is it now after I did a no shut on the dial-peer

ah, one thing I noticed. I have a max-conns on this dial-peer. If we reached the 15 calls would the dial-peer shows as down/down?

No, I don't think once u hit configured max-conn, the dialpeer admin and oper status

should go down. What you would see is a msg similar to following in the logs...

%CALL_CONTROL-6-MAX_CONNECTIONS: Maximum number of connections reached for dial-peer

There is something else going on which is taking that voip dialpeer down and don't think

its the max-conn CLI.

What do u see for sh dial-peer voice
