voip phone (7962) to configure NOT to ring

hi ,

 

im new to voip world. there is one weird user request that she wants her phone to start NOT to ring at a specific time of day (5:30pm) then ring again say starting from 7am the next day. is it possible? if yes, is there any guide how to do so?

 

im trying to search but so far i only found DND feature but i dont see any option to configure specific timing. thanks in advance.

Hi Chris,

 

This could be achieved using the time of day routing feature in CUCM.

 

Configure the same user extension with two different partitions and use one of them for timeframe 5.30 pm - 7.00 am with DND enabled ( this requires multiple time periods to be configured). Extension with other partition will be left as default so that it will ring in other time period which is 7.00 am - 5.30 pm.
