We are using a UC500 system with analog ports and trunks to the PSTN. Users claim that when hearing
voicemail from IP phones in the office the messages are load and clear. However, if they call in from the
PSTN and listen to the messages the volume is very low. How can we pump this up. On what might be a similar
note, some users call forward their extensions to outside numbers. These forwarded calls also sound very low
in volume. How can we fix this?
Thanks,
Diego

You need to adjust the input gain and output attenuation of your FXO ports. I good setting that seems to work for me is input gain -3 and output attenuation 3.
