I am bit confused,
The scenarion i have Call manager version 9.1 running in Dubai,we have a two branch site in UK & newyork, between sites not interconnected.communication through VPN,user from Dubai goes to Branch site (UK),if they want to make a call from UK logging into Jabber client makes an extension calls ,instead of that users required a deskphone to make a call.
Should any one suggest me what are thing required to be done this task?

I want to access the Deskphone phone though VPN,there is no wan connectivity between two sites,
in branch site no CUCM,some users move to branch sites if they want to make a call to HQ site instead of jabber client, they need to use Deskphone through VPN.

There is a feature called Phone VPN.
The IP Phone detects if it is inside the LAN and is able to register to CUCM.
If this is not possible the phone estabishes a SSLVPN (to a Cisco ASA) and communicates through this vpn.
When this feature is configured you can take your phone to any internet connection.

Bernhard,
Thanks for your information,i will configure now.
Wat about call quality over the internet?

Quality can not be assured.
Depends on delay, jitter and packet loss...
I would try to use codec iLBC.
iLBC is relatively robust to packet loss and doesn't need as much bandwith as g.711 / g.722.
