Hi all,
We have a 2911 running CUCME 8.8 with an AA and BACD tcl script on it. All incoming calls are translated to the AA pilot which plays a welcome message and then puts the caller into the queue if no-one is available. Management now want to remove the welcome message and have callers either go straight to a receptionist or hear the "your call is in a queue" message.
Am I right in thinking that I can just remove the en_bacd_welcome.au from the flash of the router, and the script will then skip playing that greeting?
Thanks
Sean

You can rename it to a different name in case it is wanted to use it again later.

Thanks Paolo. Just to clarify, if I delete/rename the file, this will skip the welcome message and go straight to the queue?

Actually better would be record an amply message, because I've seen cases in which the script crahses if no file found-
