On old version of CUCM, there was a CCMCIP (Cisco CallManager Cisco IP Phone) service, which handles the phone configuration retrieval requests from various clients (such as Jabber). On the new version, this service was not listed on "Control Center" page, but still being referenced (and used) by Jabber. Was the CCMCIP service incorporated into the "Cisco Callmanager" service? Thanks!

AFAIK, CCMCIP in Jabber was always referenced to the CallManager Service.
So, I wouldn't see that there was any change at all.

Not "always". In the old versions of CUCM, there's a "Cisco CallManager Cisco IP Phone Service".
