Hi All,
We used Cisco PCA at my old job and I am now in a new company where I am still learning how things are set up. I can get the login page for Cisco unity pca but none of the credentials I have are working for logging into the account.
Can anyone here on the forum advise where in Cisco unity connection administration the credentials for Cisco PCA are hosted from?
Please let me know if you do.
Thank you.
Rgds,
Vicky

They're either LDAP, assuming LDAP user, or local to CUC/CUCM, might want to ask your local IT team this. And this is assuming you're enabled to use PCA.

Hi Vicky,
Just to add a note to the good ideas from Java (+5)
The PCA password is set in CUC (if not using LDAP) and is called the Web Application Password as shown below;
Web Application (Cisco PCA) Passwords
Users use the web application password to sign in to the Cisco Personal Communications Assistant (Cisco PCA), which provides access to the Messaging Inbox (in Connection 8.0), Messaging Assistant, and Personal Call Transfer Rules web tools.
You can change the web application (Cisco PCA) password for an individual user on the Users > Users > Change Password page in Cisco Unity Connection Administration at any time.
When passwords expire, users and administrators will be required to enter a new password when they next attempt to sign in to the Cisco PCA or Connection Administration.
Users can also change their Cisco PCA passwords in the Connection Messaging Assistant.

Hi Jaime,
Thank you for the reply. I played around with my account and when I take myself out of LDAP authenticated the "web application" password becomes available for me to set on my account which allows me to use cisco pca.
However the only option is "messaging assistant". In order to make the actual voicmail message inbox available via cisco pca, is there a setting in the enterprise settings section of cisco unity connection administrator?
Please let me know and thank you!
Rgds,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
Access to the Web Inbox via PCA is setup via the COS you are assigned;
