Wireless telephony Question

Hi all,

If I have wireless ip phone 7921 connected to access point.Access point is controlled by wireless access controller.

How RTP traffic moves?

wireless ip phone----->access point----->access controller----->access point------>wireless ip phone

or

wireless ip phone----->access point----->wireless ip phone

Any ideas?

I think it depends on the APs.

some APs described as smart AP it can forward the traffic directly to AP or phone if the phone connected to same AP.

but the default behavior for thin APs is to send everything to controller.

I prefered to post this question in wireless community rather than voice
