I am in the process of integrating the Xmedius fax server and cannot seem to get the server to communicate with the call manager. We are running CCM 4.2.3 and i have followe the Xmedius install guide. The Xmedius installer technicians cant figure it out either. The fax server wont send a fax or answer an inbound fax call. We have configured it as MGCP and the fax server is setup in call manager as an H.323 gateway. Any assistance would be greatly apreciated.

If the fax server works as an MGCP gateway, why are you trying to register it on CCM as an H.323 device? Looks like CCM and XMedius speak different protocols to each other.

The resolution was seting the mgcp fxr-package as default. I had done this but when i reloaded the gateway the setting didnt keep. must not have wrote i to memory. Any ways, its working now.
