Xmedius fax - SIP Trunk to MGCP GW

Hello,

I am a troubleshooting xmedius fax issue. I cannot complete a fax. There is no fax detected, error code 602.

It was working before I started, but now it is not.

I have CUCM 8.5.1/Xmedius 6.5 and a MGCP GW.

Any thoughts are welcomed.

Hi Randall,

   Could you let us know the fax protocol you're using. I'm assuming you're using T.38 and I assume the below call flow

PSTN Fax --> E1 PRI --> Cisco Voice GWY --> MGCP --> CUCM --> SIP Trunk --> Xmedius

If the above call flow is correct, could you verify if the configuration on MGCP gateway is as per the document below

At the same time, verify the controller has no slips, use the command show controller e1 and make sure there are no slip seconds or any other error.
