Although in some IOS of 3750 switches we see the VFI command, am not sure how good an idea it is to enable 3750 for VPLS purely from scalability perspective.
There is a thought of school which talks about taking MPLS till the extreme edge. But again that would land us into the N 2 paradigm. Beating the purpose of H-VPLS.
Having said that for roadmaps your local SE is the best person.

please refer to the conversation, as we are just discussing the support for VPLS, and I mentioned even though some IOS for 3750 has this command the support for this feature needs to be verified from the local SE.

I think the thread has created some confusion :-)
1) This command is there in some IOS but obviously, it not a supported feature.
2) THe feature support and roadmap needs to be verified from a reliable source form Cisco, like your local Cisco SE.
Now here are some IOS which has this command but its unsupported.

If somebody from Cisco if reading this, then a reply would be appreciated, as to why this was included in the IOS when there was no plan of implementing it.
