Hi Friends,
I have done my CCNA 2.0 which expired in January 2004 before which I appeared for BSCI 642-801 in Jan.2004 itself and passed it successfully. So eventually my CCNA certification got extended. Right now I am preparing for CCIP.
CCIP consists of BSCI,MPLS,BGP,QOS
Now, could someone please tell me what will be the time frame within which I would have to clear the rest of the three papers and are there any possibilities of getting further extensions if I clear out my next exam say BGP?????
Thanks & Regards,
MITHIL

Mithil,
I'm not sure this is the proper venue to post this question. Have you tried the Career Certification section of NetPro.
Hope this helps,

Mr.Hritter,
I tried in career certifications section also. But no one responded that's why I thought this is the best group of netpro to post this question since many of us are either CCIPs or preparing for the same and that's why I posted it over here.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi,
Don't understand your question totally but:
After I past my 642-611 (MPLS) on 17-Sep-2004 my CCNA Expiration Date is changed to 09/17/2007.
If this not awsered your question please ask question again I don't understand your question totaly

Hi GF,
Thanks for your answer...This is what I was looking for....I just wanted to know whether do you get any extension for CCNA if u clear any of the 642 exams???Because the prometric center people told me that I have to clear rest of the three papers in 1 year and that's why I got confused...Anyways thanks a lot for your answer and please tell me some KEYS to clear out MPLS examination....

Hi !
EVERY 642- test renews your CCNA and there is currently no deadline for passing all tests for becoming CCIP...
