Is anyone aware if inter-corporate MPLS connections (similar to inter-corporate frame-relay) are possible? I am under the impression that the MPLS networks of different corporations cannot be connected together.
We currently have a number of inter-corporate frame-relay PVC's and have had some inquiries from our customers regarding MPLS connectivity between them and us. Is there any way you are aware that our network could connect to their network using MPLS via a common ISP?

Hello Richard,
if sharing the same MPLS ISP what you need is just an extranet and it is made by the service provider.
An extranet allows to provide communications between some of your sites with some of some other company's sites.
If using different ISPs they need to have MPLS VPN inter-AS VPN between them and over it they can again do an extranet.
MPLS VPN allows for this by using multiple route targets and import / export commands but all this is done on the service provider(s) side.
Hope to help
