LER to LER Eompls setup

Hi All

I have the scenario below:

PC1----eth---Cisco ASR1004(1)---stmx link------CiscoASR1004(2)----eth---PC2

I would like to use eompls so that pc1 and pc2 are in the same subnet.

I have configured the xconnect on a vlan subinterfaces enabled mpls with targetted ldp and enabled it on the pos cards but neither pc can ping the other.

On both routers sh mpls l2transport vc  displays status up

I would like to know if using the 2 routers as edge and directly connecting them to each other is implaussible.

Are the PC's directly connected to the ASR1k ?

Hello Laurent,

We have extreme networks switches connected on both sides. This are basically configured with vlan tagged on asr side and untagged on P.C side.
