Dear collogues:
kindly , I am new in dealing with mpls traffic engineering : i wonder
1.what is the benefit of advertising tunnel as P2P link with cost 1000 in ospf data base via forwarding adjacency if core routers not used it compare with cost of physical links .( we already configured LDP + OSPF ) in core
2.if I use forwarding adjacency option may I fall in not infinite loop when configure explicit path as tunnel constraints
& core router which point traffic to tunnel head end my feedback traffic tunnel to core router cause core router in explicit path
need clarification ..

Hi,
for the first Q,
you meaning you give the tunnel IP and then under ospf your advertise it?
as I know when using the MPLS TE with MP-MPLS we use the same iBGP loopback as tunnel ip unnumbered and also as iBGP update source.

dear MHM
kindly, one method of advertising MPLS TE to other routers in core to use it is forwarding adjacency. my note which senario is suitable
for using this option compare with autoroute announce or autoroute destination ?

this case,
RouterB-D-RouterE is Tunnel 1
RouterC-RouterF is Tunnel 2
where A need to select one path,
it will select the path through the RouterC
but Tunnel 1 have the priority of send data
so we use forwarding adjacency is case,
this make the A know about the two path through the two tunnel and select the tunnel 1 as path toward G.
try todo lab and send to me your result.

Hi Saif,
Juste to add to what MHM explained.
In summary,
autoroute announce only applies to the local router.
Forwarding adjacency is advertised in the routing protocol and applies to all upstream routers.
