ALL ,
As per recommended best practise , would it be advisable to have PE to PE connectivity ( both IGP & ldp connectivity ) for resiliency.
Scenario is you have collocated PEs running VRRP with dual homed CEs??
Any comment or Suggestion ?

Hi Swaroop,
I have two PE routers in the same sites with uplinks to different P Nodes. The PE Nodes run vrrp on the LAN interface for the various LAN Based CE devices.
However , if one P-PE links fails , traffic is not routed via the second PE .
Is it advisable to run direct links between both PEs and turn on label switching as per recommended best practise ??

Hi G,
Do refer to this link if you topology is similar to the topology shown in this document for HSRP support for MPLS VPN;s then it will work.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1834/products_feature_guide09186a00806993c5.html
As although this support for VRRP is not mentioned, but when i tested it it worked fine with VRRP as well, populating the right arp and cef entries for the VRF beneath.
