The situation is

ring from cat3550 with implementation of RSTP connected to 7600 (PE-routers) on both side

Is it possible organized TE tunnel instead of L2tpv3

which will be able to pass RSTP BPDU packets in order to connect virtual ring ?

THX advance

Ehlo ,

It shall be possible - assuming that 7600 software

doesn't have "tunnel selection" feature for pseudo-wire

you are stick with static routes . RSTB BPDu shall be tranparently propagated , with following considerations ( quotes form cisco.com ) :

- With PFC3BXL or PFC3Bs, all protocols (for example, CDP, VTP, BPDUs) are tunneled across the MPLS cloud without conditions

- To support Ethernet spanning tree bridge protocol data units (BPDUs) across an EoMPLS cloud, you must disable the supervisor engine spanning tree for the Ethernet over MPLS VLAN. This ensures that the EoMPLS VLANs are carried only on the trunk to the customer switch. Otherwise, the BPDUs are directed to the supervisor engine and not to the EoMPLS cloud.

I have an PFC3B and the BPDU are not getting trough my EoMPLS or VPLS.

And How can I disable the spanning-tree for a vlan?

I tried "no spanning-tree vlan X" but vlan X still have spanning-tree.

I am using MST.
