VRF Aware Tunnel between XR and IOS

Hello Guys

I'm trying to establish a L3VPN service over GRE. I have IOS and IOS XR routers at the ends in which I've configured the customer VRF interfaces. As I see the IOS interface configuration command "tunnel vrf"to define the VRF on which the tunnel endpoint reside (transport VRF) is not available on IOS XR, so I'm not sure how to define the transport VRF on IOS XR for the tunnel interface.

Has someone an advice for this type of service?

Regards,

Marcelo

Hi Marcelo,

This feature was introduced a while ago, in IOS-XR 5.2. What level of code are you running?

Hi Harold

I have the release 5.0 on that router, indeed I tried the comand in another router with the 5.3.4 release.

Thanks for your support!
