As an alternative to virtual box, ISE will run in the free vmware workstation Player, the major different between player and workstation pro for labbing though is that you don't have the vmware workstation pro advanced network manager. Depending on the networking requirements on your PC, this can rule it out as an option.
Player will also only run a single VM, if you need a AD server, you would have to do that in virtualbox at the same time.
