Hi all,
I need to configure a new ACS SE, model 1113, but has problem in configuring proper ip address in first attempt. I tried to use the set ip command to change it but it didn't work. Then I performed the setup again by rebooting the machine and pressing the F2 key. But I was asked to provide the CURRENT password which was not the administrator password. Any idea about that? I did the recovery in version 4.0 before but didn't need any password!
The ACS version 4.1. Thanks in advance!
Anthony

Hi An,
To fix this static ip issue we need to apply a patch on acs appliance. Please download the patch from this link,
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/acs-soleng-3des
Patch filename: applACS-4.1-set-ip-CSCsm73656-Patch.zip
The default username and password is Administrator and setup. If this has already been used, then you will have to use the recovery CD to set the username and password again.
One of the options when booting from the recovery cd is to reset the password.

When it prompts for the current password is actually the BIOS password.
