Morning,
I have a question with regards to accessing commands that you would normally access via telnet but due to the network elements having telnet "disabled" i need to find an alternatlve method.
Is it possible to access the following commands using SNMP ?
show access-lists
show arp
show cdp neighbours
show interface
show ip <routing_protocol_used> *
show ip protocols
show ip route
show ip traffic
show log
show memory
show policy-map interface
show processes
show protocols
show run
show standby
show tech
show version
Help would most appreciated

some of these you can access via SNMP, and some you cannot

is there a way of restricting what MIBs are to be access with read only access to SNMP ?

yes, you may define snmp views
