Backup LMS 4.2 Appliance to remote host

I've installed a Cisco Systems Prime LMS 4.2 Appliance an vmWare an everything works fine, expect Backup. When I setup a scheduled backup, I can only store it to a local folder at the appliance.

Is there an option I can set, to store the backup via sftp, ftp, ... to a remote host or have I to mount a volume like USB, NFS, SMB to the appliance?

Saving backup to network drives isn't supported. You may want to create a script to move the backup to another location once backup is completed by LMS.
