I am trying to add a couple of WS-C3750X-48P switches located in a DMZ to Cisco Prime 2.1 and it is failed with SNMP Connectivity Failed and the Collection Status Details say SNMP Failure: No Response for SNMP Get request.
The difference between these two switches in our DMZ and every other WS-C3750X-48P located on the internal network is we have connected to these DMZ switches through the F0 management interface. I believe this is the root of our problem but I'm having a hard time finding confirmation of that.
From Cisco documentation it appears there is very limited SNMP support through the F0 management interface. I find it odd, however, that Prime 2.1 can't access this switch some other way like using SSH from the command line.
Any thoughts or ideas on how best to use Prime 2.1 to manage or at least pull configurations from WS-C3750X-48P switches through the F0 management interface?
Thanks.

Have you confirmed that you can reach PI from the F0 interface? Remember it uses the VRFmgmt and not the default VRF.
Also make sure you have the necessary "source interface" commands for authentication and logging etc.

Yes, if I use the command ping <Prime 2.1 IP address> source f0 I get a ping reply back just fine.
