Hello all! I have started learning in preparation for my CCNA exam in the future. I am also looking to upgrade from my ISPs provided gateway. My biggest hurdle with hardware is noise/heat, and knowing what I should get as far as some devices that would fit my agenda. I want to have my ISP gateway connect to a firewall, then to a router, then to 3 different switches, one for my lab, one for servers, and one for home network for family. Family network needs a WAP somewhere downstream. I need everything to at least support GE, but I also want to future proof as much as possible, so 10GE or SHP+ is welcome. Any recommendations on what to get? Willing to spend about 200 on each piece of equipment, but I can splurge a bit more if needed for something that is really worth it. Would be looking on eBay too!
