I've been away from the Cisco scene for a while and now that I'm tasked with a network redesign project I realize most of my old tools are end-of-lifed. So I'm reaching out to the community for some tips.
My new network will be some 10-12 Cisco 1900-series routers located in the field on 3G or satellite links and 4-5 bigger routers or L3 switches at the core. All routers are expected to rely on access lists, VLANs and GRE tunnels. Mind you this is still under early stages of planning.
What I'm looking for is a centralized multi user GUI to allow for some level of management of these routers and their access lists. The intended users will be skilled at server- and application management but shouldn't need deeper Cisco networking knowledge like syntax and such. Cisco bias is expected but I might even go open source if the product is right for us
I understand this is a broad question and all tips are welcome.
