Cisco LMS 4.0 evaluation

Managed to download the evaluation ok, but when running the installation it states it only works for US English or Japanese so we needed to change our regional settings (we are in the UK). We did this on the server and changed the time zone, region, language, keyboard type etc so that everything was set to US English.

However, the software still comes up with the error and won't continue the installation. Anyone else had this and how do we get around it? I don't really want to have to reinstall the OS as that seems extreme.

No, you have to reinstall the OS with English-US locale. 

Or you can change these registry entries.

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International]

"Locale"="00000409"

"LocaleName"="en-US"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International]

"Locale"="00000409"

"LocaleName"="en-US".
