CISCO PRIME INFRASTRUCTURE 3.1 - ALARM SUMMARY NOT SHOWING ALARMAS

Hi:

Alarm summary is not displaying alarm count that are visible with "VIEW DETAILS"

We had a similar issue but it was on Prime 2.x

We had to engage Cisco TAC because there was a problem with the event and alarm tables.

Events in Prime trigger the Alarms and one of the tables had reached a soft limit which meant that the Alarms were not being generated.

The Cisco TAC engineer had to manually modify the soft limit of the table within the Oracle database so that it would allow the Alarms to be generated.
