Cisco Prime LMS 4.2 topology services don't display E1 links

Hi all,

We have prime LMS 4.2, we are trying to see a full topology map using topology services.

When we go to Layer 2 view we see only 100 MB links, and not our WAN links (Layer 2 links, E1, seen in the CDP neghibors.)

Any idea how can we see a full map?

Thanks!

I guess the reason for not showing the links is a bit vague.

In the distant past I created IP tunnels between sites and enabled cdp on the tu links, going through provider frame-relay and mpls clouds  .

I could then enjoy the "wan" links on the map.

Cheers,

Michel

Hi,

I found the problem

Needed to upgrade to version 4.2.5...

another problem, a link in the services topology view display in red although it's in up state.

Any ideas?

So it was a bug? Is there a bug id in the release notes?

Is the fault persistent? Keep in mind the map is not real time. It can take hours before the state changes.

If so, select the link and delete it, select the two devices where the link was between and launch a rediscover for the 2 devices.

Cheers,

Michel

Serial links configured via T1/E1 module are currently not showing up connected in Topology view.
