Hello experts,
I have a few Cisco 3750G-12S-S 12 port switches that are running on dual power supply. One is AC power and other is DC connected through Cisco RPS 2300. I'm using Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.1 as the Network Monitoring Tool.
I get AC power failure alarms from 3750 switches, but I dont receive any DC power failure alarms on Cisco Prime. However, I do receive AC and DC power failure alarms from all other switch models that I have (Cisco 2960G, Cisco 3750x, etc).
I also see these alarms in the buffer log of individual switches as well as in Syslog. I'm pretty confident that I've configured the switches with necessary SNMP settings (snmp-server enable traps envmon).
I've already uploaded the CISCO-ENVMON-MIB file onto Cisco Prime, and only after doing that, I started receiving DC power failure alarms from other switch models.
My question is, is the Cisco 3750G-12S-S model supported under Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.1 for receiving DC power failure alarms from Cisco RPS 2300? If yes, is there any additional configuration to be done on Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.1 that I have missed?
