Hello,
So i recently got a Cisco Secure Firewall ISA3000 and i was trying to set it up, however, i noticed that my interface commands are different.
mobile(config-if)# int Gi1/1
mobile(config-if)# ip address 10.10.1.37 255.255.255.0
^
ERROR: % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
mobile(config-if)# ?
Interface configuration commands:
bridge-group
cts
default
description
duplex
exit
flowcontrol
help
ipv6
lacp
mac-address
nameif
no
nve-only
ptp
security-level
shutdown
speed
traffic-forward
I could use a BVI however, even with that BVI1 setup and the interface showing bridge-group 1. on the switch that i connected that firewall to it wasnt showing me a mac address to that interface so not sure if it was even detecting that firewall. I tested the cable going from firewall to switch the cable was good. On the running config it didnt' say that interface was shutdown, however, i was trying Gi1/2 and Gi1/1 on that firewall to see if i can set up an ip to that interface.
Any ideas?

Lol, Thank you @marce1000 . Turns out the firewall was running on "transparent mode" that is why i couldn't set ip to interfaces.
Appreciate it.
