How to generate mail notification via sysname or device name?

Mail notifications from where? What type of information other than the sysName or device name do you want to see in these notifications? CiscoView is not a fault management tool, so I imagine the email notifications to which you refer would come from either RME or DFM.

Sorry for not being clear....
The mail generated by DMF for say for operationally Down, Unresponsive comes with ip address. Instead of ip address i want device name or sysname becoz this will help helpdesk to track specific eng from that location. With the ip address for 350 odd sites its bit difficult for them to trace

Unfortunately, DFM is the only application in LMS that does not respect Display Name. In order to get DFM to use a hostname, you must make sure that the IP address being managed is resolvable via DNS or hosts file. To test this, use the NMSROOT/bin/resolver.pl tool:
NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/resolver.pl x.x.x.x
If the hostname is properly returned there, then re-add your device to DFM, and it should be managed by hostname instead of IP.
