CiscoWorks LMS discovery problem

I just installed CiscoWroks 4.0 LMS on this network and I'm conducting an initial discovery

The SNMP community settings for the devices are all correct, but when I do my discovery, CiscoWorks discovers the devices, but says

Devices newly added to DCR: 0

Is there something I am missing here? Does it need something other than the SNMP credentials to add devices to the DCR?

You need to give a seed device (often this will be your core switches) so that LMS can discover from there. Also, use CDP and Ping Sweep to discover more devices besides the ones you add as a seed device. After that, run the discovery process a couple of times so that more devices will be added each time. Use Ping Sweep for the devices that cannot be reached via CDP.
