Hi I'm building old network topology by CDP command line. I found a switch with hostname without IP ADDRESS. Is IT possible to configure by CDP protocol? Or any other mode? Thanks Guys

I do not believe if the switch already configured and Live in that network with out any management access you can send some command to switch. ?(as you expecting)
yes if the switch PNP mode you can provision the switch.

you can configure hos name and IP address below methods :
1. Console to the device and check running configuration and add as per the requirement ?

Hi
I found it by CDP neighbors. Console connection is an easy way if I'm 1mt distance from switch.
This switch ha been installed without ip address, I'd like to know if there are at least sub-commands to configure the IP address.

yes you can configure 2things
1. Hostname

Hi
We don’t undertstand.
I need to know if, is there any method to send command from switch1 to other switch2 connect via LAN.
Switch 1 is known and is managed (io address)
Switch 2 is connected to switch 1 via Lan without IP address on management vlan, enable only cdp protocol.
Without layer 3 connection, is there any method?
