CWA couldn't start

When trying to launch the CWA server setup workflow, the following error comes after taking a long time saying Collecting existing server information. Please wait.. -

CWA0: Could not fetch the error message from the database.

CWA database engine may not be running.

Check if the OpsxmlDbEngine is running.

I checked on the OpsxmlDbEngine, OpsXMLRuntime  process and also other CWA dependency processes, its all started but with the 'program started - no mgt msgs received' process state.

Also tried restarting daemon manager of the server.

Help pls.

Most likely it is CSCsj08841. Try the workaround:

On Solaris:
/opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl dbpasswd.pl dsn=opsxml npwd=

On Windows:
$NMSROOT\bin\perl dbpasswd.pl dsn=opsxml npwd=

Please post the results.

I stopped the Cisco works deamon manager and tried to change the db password but it couldnt complete the task.

Error:-
