Hello Rahishudeen_18,

A PDU - Protocol Data Unit is a term used to define your load (data) at different steps of the OSI model.  Underneath the umbrella of PDU you can use the terms Segment, Packet, and/or Frame.  A segment is used when the data is at layer 4, a Packet is used when the data is at layer 3, and Frame is used when the data is at layer 2.

MTU is maximum transmission unit.  This is an actual number that indicates the size of the payload being transmitted.

Hope this helps.

If this helped you please mark it is the solution.  Good Luck.

In simple terms, the PDU is what's being sent, in a single "block" for the protocol in question.

MTU defines the maximum "block" size that can be sent.  PDU might be up to that size, or (and often) smaller.

It still unclear try to describe what's confusing you.
