Do MSE wips affect actual client service?

I had to reinstall MSE.
8.0.110.0 -> 8.0.150.0

However, after reinstallation, new wireless users cannot connect.

The settings of the existing MSE are unknown.

It seems that the WIPS function is turned on in the newly reinstalled MSE (this is not accurate).

Among the APs in use, none are in wips mode.

Does the WIPS part of MSE affect the wireless connection of clients?

In my opinion it should not!

AFAIK Cisco MSE can be seen as a large database + computing power, not an enforcement appliance

again: it is not the MSE that enforces WIPS
if you enable WIPS on the MSE then the MSE is prepared to use WIPS,
but another device is feeding data to the MSE and receiving a result from the MSE

=> again: check the logs of your wireless controller!
maybe the WLC still tries to communicate with the OLD MSE ? -> you need to tell the MSE has been replaced with a new version
