There are two Data Metro E's and two Voice Metro E's. (2 3400 switches at each site) Site A has two 3400 switches, which terminate in a 6509 switch. Site B has two 3400 switches that terminate into a 4507 switch. We are looking for a solution that will preferably bond the two pipes (Ether channel) and at the bare minimum fail over (possibly hsrp) if one fiber is cut. There are currently 6 sites total on the data Metro E. When you show cdp neigh you can see all sites on the Data MetroE. On the Voice vlan you only see Site A and Site B. Is an Ether channel a possible solution on dual metro Es when six total sites are connected to the same Metro E? If not what is the preferred solution? Site B's default route points to Site A, which is the main site. Thanks in advance for your assistance!
