Hi,
We use the following AMI right now:
cisco-ic_CSR_03.16.01a.S-AMI-AX-HVM-9f5a4516-a4c3-4cf1-89d4-105d2200230e-ami-77397b1d.3 (ami-009ecb6a)
Based on the above AMI, is there a way to determine if it has the AX license (we assume it's there because of the name) and if the AX license is enabled?

Yes, that confirms it has the AX licence.

If you go "show ver" it should have a section labelled "Technology Package License Information", and that should show the activated licences.

Thanks for the reply. After running "show ver" on the command line, the section "Technology Package License Information" doesn't appear at all. Here's a partial output of "show ver":
