How to migrate the Wired device list and credentials from LMS to Prime

Hi All,

We have extracted the DCR in CSV format from the LMS 4.1. Now , we need to import this into Prime Infrastructure  2.2/3.0 to migrate all the wired devices from LMS to Prime. The version of this CSV file is version 3.0. I am aware that I may have to modify this CSV file as per the version being used in Prime 3.0/2.2. However , I wasn't able to find the place in Prime to get the DCR CSV out of Prime. If I get that, I will be able to check the format and will be able to modify the CSV from LMS accordingly. and then import this modified CSV file into Prime 3.0.

Can someone help ?

If you migrate your LMS to version 4.2.2, there is a built-in export to Prime Infrastructure's preferred format:

Otherwise you will need to massage the data a bit. You can see the PI format via the CSV template link that is given when you go to Inventory > Device Management > Network Devices > Bulk Import as shown below from a PI 3.0 server:

Thanks for the direction. I actually , exported the CSV file from Prime 3.0 yesterday to check the desired format but looks like the sample CSV feature will be more accurate. I will perform this activity and will update the thread.
