Hi Guys ,
This is not an issue in my network but a general question.
Is it possible to achieve seamless roaming between an Aruba and Cisco AP ? Given the conditions that I have the same WLAN name configured and same VLAN mapped to the WLAN . I rea...
Hi Guys,
This may sound like a basic question but I would appreciate an answer.
We have a WLC with "BE" and "US" country codes enabled. Although , the WLC is in Belgium , but there are some "A" domain APs (deployed in Belgium) associated to it. Hence...
Hi Guys,
I have a few queries related to the FSR:
1. In AireOS version 8.2.x , if we allow FT with 802.1X , will the non-802.11r clients be able to connect ? The 8.2 config guide is confusing in this regard.
2. What version of IOS (Apple) support O...
Hi Guys,
We are facing an issue in a warehouse deployment. We have deployed around 40 3702e series APs and the RRM is making the Aps transmit at very low power (index 8). However , the clients beneath the antennas are complaining of very low signal ...

The rule is that if the AP and the WLC image is NOT SAME AND the AP is supported on the image on the WLC , it will download the image from the WLC and will associate. The second question has been answered I guess.
Cheers,

What I understand is that you don't have any control on the local VLANs. Tha's ok. You just need to know the VLAN IDs and the Native VLAN ID. Map the WLAN-VLAN in the AP or in the Flexconnect group (which contains all the Flexconnect AP...
Looks like there is no way practically to achieve what you wish to.. RF profiles are the only way to configure a different RF setting for a subset of APs . However, RF profiles don't have an option of configuring the TPS mechanism like automatic/on-d...
Hail Cisco !!!
Anyways , we upgraded our 5508 WLCs directly from 8.2.160.0 to 8.5.120.0. These WLCs were in AP-SSO. We encountered two issues.
1. The CPU ACLs got disabled after the upgrade.
2. The Active 5508 WLC was left in a reboot loop if we ...
