Hi I setup the ip nbar protocol discovery on my interfaces. When i type "sh ip nbar protocol discovery" I have only inbount counting for all protocols and outbound is always 0. For serial interface the situation is oposite. Can someone explain this?
THANKS!!!!

This is because when you enable "ip nbar protocol discovery" on a inbound interface the traffic in that direction will increase and that is shown in the "sh ip nbar protocol discovery". If it is enabled on a outbound interface like serial interface then the traffic in that direction will increase and hence the "out" counter will increase.

Yes but what about replays for a particular protocol. How does that count?
I just see what comming in the ethernet and see what comming out from serial.
How can I see what comming in serial and comming out from ethernet ?
